No money for the Palestinian people...but millions for terrorism

The Shin Bet and Israeli security pulled off major raids yesterday that netted NIS 6 million , about $1.4 million US, that was earmarked for financing terrorist attacks, purchasing weapons and explosives, training terrorist cells, assembling explosive belts and car bombs, and manufacturing Qassam rockets.

The money was being handled by Palestinian money changers, and mostly came from Iran.

The raids took place in Jenin, Nablus, Tulkarm, Ramallah. According to Palestinian reports, five money changing posts were destroyed. In Nablus, the raid focused on one of the banks in the city.

It is simply amazing, after all the rhetoric about the `suffering Palestinians' that killing Jews and enabling a bunch of mafioso terrorists to rule them for fun and profit seems to be more important to the average Palestinian then ensuring a decent life for their children.

Actually, I just defamed the mafia. In areas that were mob controlled, like Brownsville in Brooklyn, New York or Ciciro in Illinois, one of the benefits the residents enjoyed was almost complete freedom from ordinary street crime. The Palestinian Authority and Hamas aren't even willing to give the unfortunate population under their control even that much.
