Watcher's Council Results 8/10/07

This week's winner is

A wry and informative travelogue of Rick's adventures among the Kossacks. Congrats, Rick!


In second place was:
Done With Mirrors: Tancredo and Tonic - Callimachus' examination of GOP candidate Tom Tancredo's idea of using the idea of nuking Mecca and Medina as a deterrent against terrorism strikes on the USA. Well done, Cal!

For non-Council, the winner was Michael Yon: Bread and Circuses Part II an excellent first hand account of the Iraq War on the ground by Michael Yon.

In second place for non-Council, there was a tie between Ayaan Hirss Ali: My View Of Islam The celebrated author and ex- Muslim's contribution to the WAPO's `On Faith' series

and:

Lone Star Times : A Bridge Too Far A nicely done exposition of the `blame game' surrounding the Minnesota bridge collapse.
