Hamas Sniper Narrowly Misses Israeli Minister

Israeli Public Security Minister Avi Dichter was targeted by a Hamas sniper today while he was touring an observation point overlooking the northern Gaza Strip. Dicter wasn't hit, but his chief aide Mati Gill was shot and is listed in moderate condition.

Dichter and Gill were hosting a 15-member delegation of the Board of Governors of the Canada Israel Committee (CIC) to the observation point which is near near Sderot in order to show them the situation in southern Israel under Palestinian rocket fire.

None of the group were wearing uniforms...just another day with Israel's 'peace partners'...
